William III, Peace Restored, Throne Established Medal
The orange tree seen on the reverse of this medal is often used in political imagery on medals, pamphlets, statues and engravings to represent the Orange sovereign, William III. England, Scotland, Ireland and Holland are seen defending the monarch and his Protestant cause from the greatest threats to his throne, the Jacobites and Louis XIV of France.
