Ex. Slaney, lot. 468. The Slaney collection was sold in two parts, the first in 2003 and the second in 2015. The collection featured many of the great rarities of William III’s coinage including both the French Arms at date and the Scottish arms at date sixpences. The former sold for £1,090 in 2003 and the latter is pictured here.
